Privacy Policy
The short version: your data stays on your device first, syncs to your private account so you don't lose it, and is never sold or used for advertising.
Overview
Weekday is built by Weekday Fitness LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Weekday app and this website handle, where it lives, and the choices you have.
What the app collects
Profile details you enter during onboarding (name, age, body metrics, goals, experience level, and any injuries you report), your gym equipment profiles, the workouts and sets you log, messages you send to the AI coach, and feedback you submit.
If you subscribe, Apple and our payments partner (RevenueCat) handle the transaction. We never see your card details.
Where your data lives
Everything is stored locally on your device, so the app works fully offline. When you're signed in, your data also syncs to your private account on our servers (hosted on Supabase in the United States) so it survives a lost phone or a new device. Access is restricted to your account; other users can never read your data.
AI features
When you generate a program or message the coach, the relevant parts of your training profile (goals, equipment, injuries, recent workouts) are sent to our servers and processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce your program or reply. These requests are used only to serve you. They are not used to train AI models.
Apple Health
If you connect Apple Health, we read health data to personalize your program and write your completed workouts back so your activity stays in sync. This happens only with your permission, is used only inside the app, and Health data is never transmitted to third parties. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app or iOS Settings.
Camera and location
The equipment scanner runs entirely on your device. Photos of your gym are analyzed locally and are not uploaded. Location is used only while you search for nearby gyms and is never stored or shared.
Exercise videos
Exercise demonstration videos are streamed from our content partner. Requesting a video sends only the standard information any web request carries, such as your IP address; it does not include your profile or training data.
This website and the waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store the name and email you give us, which page you signed up from, and any survey answers you choose to give. We use them only to invite you to Weekday and tell you when it launches. We email you from notify@in.getweekday.app through our email provider (Resend). To be removed, email us and we'll delete your entry.
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free measurement tool that counts visits and page views without identifying individual visitors. There are no advertising trackers.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your data in the app anytime. "Reset app & start over" in Profile wipes all local data. To delete your account and synced data entirely, contact us and we'll remove it within 30 days.
Children
Weekday is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
